Multi-color Pink Tourmaline Necklace, this simple beaded gemstone necklace is hand knotted with translucent AAA rose cut stones antique steel cut beads and finished of with a 18K Gold Vermeil clasp and teardrop charm.

Length : 17" 41 mm. Tourmaline tones vary in size range 8-10 x 7-8 mm. .4 x .3 inches

I came across these multicolor stones at a recent gem show and was drawn to them. They are hexagonal in shape , rose cut ( old mine cut) flat stones . The photo doesn't quite capture their brilliance and sparkle. These are very high quality stones in a very unusual shape.

Steel cut beads were made in France at the turn of the last century and no longer produced They were used in beaded bags and fashion accessories. They have a lot of sparkle and compliment the faceted stones.
